Мы тут с [livejournal.com profile] bdbd задались вопросом, каков, собственно говоря, корень слова דת ("религия" на иврите). Ничего не нашел. Может я не там искал? В словаре Эвен-Шошана ничего толком не сказано. Написано только, что возможно это редукция דנת, и всё.
