Lotus Notes

Как недавно заметил catpad, "ругать Windows и Билла Гейтса в приличном обществе почти так же принято, как ругать мыльные оперы". И совершенно зря. По-моему никакой продукт не сравнится с IBMовским Lotus Notes. Вот инструкция, описывающая шаги, необходимые для того, чтобы Lotus Notes корректно перешёл на зимнее время.

1. Print your calendar entries till the end of the year.
2. Find the notes.ini file (usually under c:\notes\) and open it.
3. Find the DSTlaw= x x x x x x (x- is a number) line and delete it, then save and close the file.
4. Push the button relevant to your operating system (click yes & OK for all the questions), the button edit your registry to match the time zone settings:
5. Reboot the machine.
6. Before opening notes, open the notes.ini file and make sure that there is no DSTlaw= x x x x x x line in it.
7. Execute notes.

Я первый шаг понимаю таким образом, что всё, что занесено в календарь на момент переода часов пропадёт и надо будет потом это отслеживать по распечатке. Мне кажется, проще было с самого начала пользоваться бумажным календарём, а с Lotus Notes вообще не связываться
